II. American Cultural Exchange Program – A Solid Stepping Stone for the Future:

The U.S.-J1 Cultural Exchange Program is implemented by the Nacel Open Door, which has been overseen by the U.S. Department of State for more than 50 years. Through the program, international students can experience American life, culture, and education. Students study for 1 year, then return to their home country to continue their studies or apply for long-term study abroad in the US if desired.

Advantages of the program:

  • Affordable, with full or partial exemption of tuition, accommodation, and meals;
  • Studying at a public or private school in the United States, an opportunity for students to exchange and learn from each other in a new environment, experience life in the United States and mature through real-world experiences;
  • Take advantage of the time to find a permanent school in the U.S. with scholarships/other opportunities…

In Vietnam, the cultural exchange program has been held for more than 24 years and is quite successful. 100% of EduMatch’s students have had positive experiences with the program and among them, about 90% return for long-term studies in the U.S., while around 10% pursue studies in other countries.
